The tricity recorded 26 fresh Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, a slight dip from 23 cases the day before.
While Mohali’s cases decreased from 16 to seven over the past 24 hours, both Chandigarh and Panchkula saw their infections rising from seven to 10 and three to six, respectively.
Since May 2, the daily cases have been winding downwards, gradually dropping from 80 to 23, while also bringing the active cases below 200 after almost 35 days.
Even on Wednesday, the number of active Covid cases decreased to 171. Among the total positive patients currently, 91 are in Mohali, 59 in Chandigarh and 21 in Panchkula.
