VARANASI: Bharatiya Janata Party, on Sunday, started ‘Parbhavi Matdata sammelan’- series of its conventions to mobilise voters in the Varanasi Municipal Corporation areas from Sunday in view of the forthcoming urban local bodies elections.
BJP’s Kashi regional unit media in-charge Navratan Rathi said that the first convention in this series was started at Mudaila where UP ministers AK Sharma mobilised the cadres by highlighting the achievements of BJP led governments at the Centre and state.
In another convention at Nati Imali area, UP ministers including Nand Gopal Nandi and Ravindra Jaiswal addressed the party cadres. They highlighted how Kashi had been transformed due to efforts of local MP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi and also chief minister Yogi Adityanath.
