Featuring an aerodynamic design, the Volkswagen ID.4 is equipped with sleeker-looking headlamps with DRLs and signature GTX badging on the enclosed grille, side fenders and rear liftgate. The electric car rides on 20-inch alloy wheels. The rear profile of the Volkswagen ID.4 GTX is flanked by an LED light bar running across the width of the rear and revised rear bumper.

Inside the cabin, the ID.4 GTX is likely to be equipped with a 12.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a fully-digital instrument cluster, a power-operated rear lift gate and a panoramic sunroof. Moreover, it gets a 12-way power adjustable driver’s seat and GTX lettering on the steering wheel and front seats.
Internationally, the Volkswagen ID.4 GTX is propelled by two electric motors that produce a peak power of 299 bhp and a max torque of 310 Nm. The ID.4 GTX uses a 77 kWh battery, offering a WLTP range of 479 km when fully charged. The electric car does 0-100 kmph in six seconds. The company is yet to reveal the mechanical specifications of the upcoming Volkswagen EV in the Indian market.

Volkswagen has not confirmed yet, but we expect the Volkswagen ID.4 GTX EV to mark its India debut later this year. Once launched, the ID.4 GTX will compete with the likes of the Kia EV6, Hyundai Kona, Hyundai Ioniq 5 and the Volvo XC40 Recharge.
