Stf: 2 Fraudsters Held For Making Fake Documents Of Vehicles | – Times of India



Varanasi: The STF arrested two members of a fraudsters’ gang involved in preparing fake registration papers of vehicles and driving licenses at Naubatpur check-post on UP-Bihar border in Chandauli district.
A team of STF’s Varanasi field unit led by inspector Amit Srivastava raided Futva Naubatpur area in Chandauli district and arrested Pramod Kumar Chaudhary of Saiyyedraja and Ibrar Ali of Kaimur district in Bihar. The cops also recovered a laptop, colour printer, machines used for making cards, 32 fake driving licenses, fake registration papers, two mobile phones, Rs 2,100 cash and many other documents from them.
The STF had swung into action after rising complaints regarding fake registration papers and driving licenses being prepared by an interstate gang. Officials said the arrested duo confessed that their gang members were active in UP, Bihar, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab and other states. Many members of the gang are in jails of different states while those who managed to come out had become active in this trade again. The gang used to earn Rs 2000-Rs 3000 for each fake document.
