Prayagraj: Deputy CM Brijesh Pathak on Sunday directed district health authorities to ensure availability of medicines at all government hospitals. He also asked the district magistrate and chief medical officer to ensure that doctors should not prescribe medicines from outside and action must be initiated against errant staff.
He also asked CMO to ensure that medical and para medical staff should be available at all CHCs and PHCs round the clock. Deputy CM Pathak was reviewing the development works and projects at circuit house on Sunday. He said the quality work of construction of water tanks under the Jal Jeevan Mission should be done as per the norms and asked DM to conduct strict monitoring. He also asked to ensure that all community toilets should be functional.
He also asked officials of power department to remove loose and ill- fated wiring from rural areas which would help to check mishaps. He also directed PWD officials to complete quality road construction work on time and also complete patch work on broken roads. He also asked district officials to ensure net connectivity at all panchayat bhawans and all eligible beneficiaries should get benefits from union and state government run schemes.
Meanwhile, Deputy CM also attended Grah-Pravesh ( Home entrance ) programme at Bhim Nagar slum in Naini locality where a house was allotted to Shyam Lal under the PM Awas Yojna Urban. The deputy CM along with party MLAs also enjoyed lunch at the house of Lal and inspected the slum area.
