Prayagraj: Volunteers of Sri Satya Sai Seva Samiti of Prayagraj, led by its district president Anupam Dikshit, observed ‘aradhana diwas’—the day Bhagawan Shri Sathya Sai baba departed from the world in 2011. Followers of the samiti distributed fruits and other items to the patients and their immediate attendants at SRN hospital on Monday. “We undertook the seva in remembrance of Sri Satya Sai Baba who taught the world that manav (human) seva is equal to Madhav (God) seva”, said the district president, Dikshit.
Volunteers undertook the unique service work and provided fruits and other eatables to 600 patients and their attendants and employees of SRN hospital. “We offered them apples, bananas, grapes, cucumbers, vibhuti and a picture of our swami with Shivling in his hand which we consider a ‘healing picture’,” said senior member.
