NOIDA/GHAZIABAD: Gautam Budh Nagar reported 62 new Covid cases on Friday while 24 cases were logged in Ghaziabad during the same time period.
The active cases count of the districts has reached 278 and 103, respectively.
Health department officials in GB Nagar said they have tested 1,379 samples in the last 24 hours of which 62 have tested positive. In Ghaziabad, 526 samples were tested.
The officials said that though there has been no severity in cases so far, the health department has ramped up their preparation by adding more oxygen beds, medicines, ambulances and trained staff at all government facilities.
