Prayagraj: BJP MP from Allahabad Rita Bahuguna Joshi on Saturday said the victory of party candidates in ULB polls indicate a BJP wave in the country and the saffron party would form the government for the third consecutive time under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2024.
She congratulated party’s mayoral candidate Ganesh Kesarwani and said with this win, lotus has once again blossomed in Sangam city.
Congratulating Kesarwani, Joshi said the victory was due to the policies and programmes of the Modi government at the Centre and Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh.
Joshi said the new mayor will get the development of the city done on a priority basis ahead of the Maha Kumbh-2025.
“The development of the city will be rapid in the triple engine government and I thank the party workers for working hard and ensuring the win of the BJP candidates not only for the mayor post but also those who were in the fray for corporator seats,” she said.Joshi also congratulated BJP’s Sirsa nagar panchayat president Vipin Kumar on his victory. tnn
