The Meridian X and Meridian Upland versions feature two very distinctive styling themes. While the Meridian X comes with a more urban-focused design theme finished in a new silver paint scheme, the Meridian Upland is the one to get more of an adventure-focused look and features a new blue colour option.

The Jeep Meridian X gets body-coloured plastic cladding, a grey roof, alloy wheels with grey inserts, side mouldings, puddle lamps and ambient lighting on the inside. In contrast, the Jeep Meridian Upland comes equipped with a roof carrier, side steps on either side, splash guards, a boot organizer, sunshades, a special cabin, cargo mats, a tire inflator as well as a unique hood decal.
No mechanical changes have been made to either of the two versions. That said, Jeep offers the Meridian with a 2.0-litre diesel engine putting out 170 PS power and 350 Nm torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed MT, as well as a 9-speed AT, with optional all-wheel drive (AWD) system.
The Jeep Meridian continues to rival other full size 7-seat SUVs in the Indian market including Skoda Kodiaq, MG Gloster, as well as the Toyota Fortuner. Bookings for the Jeep Meridian X and Meridian Upland are now open at its dealers across the country as well as its official website.
