Prayagraj: Authorities of Prayagraj Development Authority (PDA) on Tuesday pasted another show cause notice on the house of Guddu Muslim, who is wanted in connection with Umesh Pal murder case, at Manja Chaqniratul locality in Chakia.
PDA officials preferring anonymity said the house was allegedly constructed without proper approvals from authorities concerned and hence the development authority had asked Guddu and his wife Chand Bibi to present the property papers before it.
But neither Chand Bibi nor Guddu Muslim did the needful.
Guddu, is on the run ever since he was named as an accused in the lawyer Umesh Pal and two of his police gunners murder case on February 24. He carries Rs 5 lakh cash reward on his head. Guddu was captured in CCTV footages hurling bombs during the incident.
Officials said on March 10 PDA had asked the house owner to present required documents by March 25. A reminder was also issued on April 1. When no one turned up, officials again issued a notice on April 3 directing Guddu to demolish the structure by April 18 or the PDA would raze the same after the expiry of date and the expenses would be collected from him. tnn
