Energy solutions provider Gentari today announced that it has signed MoU with electric mobility provider MoEVing. Gentari said that it will be providing 1,000 three-wheeler and 500 four-wheeler electric cargo vehicles on subscription to MoEVing. The document exchange ceremony was held during the 8th Smart Cities India Expo.
Gentari also said that exchanged MoU documents with logistics company Gati KWE (Gati) to provide 500 electric cargo vehicles through its Vehicle-as-a-Service (VaaS) offering. Back in 2022, Gentari signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tata Motors. As per the MoU, the latter will deliver 5,000 units of Tata Ace EV over three years.
The MoU also includes the delivery of 1,000 units in the first year, for deployment in Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune and Kolkata. To mark the delivery of the first batch of 100 trucks throughout March and April this year, a vehicle handover ceremony was also held at the 8th Smart Cities India Expo.

Gentari further said that it has achieved significant milestones, with its VaaS offering having clocked three million clean kilometres, equivalent to more than 100 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions reduction. The company approximately has 1,000 three-wheeler EVs serving third-party logistics and e-commerce operators as well as private users. In 2023, the company aims to further grow its EV fleet to more than 4,000 vehicles across ten cities with a mix of three- and four-wheeler vehicles. The company currently has a network of seven charging hubs operating in four cities.

By 2030, the company said that it has plans to build a renewable energy capacity of 30-40 GW; supplying up to 1.2 mtpa of clean hydrogen. The company also said that it aims to capture a 10% market share (around 25,000 charging points) across key markets in the region.
