The cabin behind the rear doors has been replaced with a flatbed to convert it into a pick-up truck and the tailgate opens sideways instead of folding down as seen in Isuzu V-Cross and Toyota Hilux. The dual cab also gets a split clear window at the back which allow access to the truck’s bed.
There are no images of the interior of the Gurkha pickup truck, However, we expect it to get the same cabin layout as the Gurkha 3-door. The pick-up truck will likely get a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, Manual AC, semi-digital cluster and many more.
Talking about the powertrain and gearbox, the Gurkha pickup could get a Mercedes-sourced 2.6-litre turbocharged diesel which puts out 91 bhp of power and 250 Nm of torque. Gearbox options will include a 5-speed manual.

It is expected that Force might offer a 4×4 with a low-range gearbox and manual front and rear locking differentials as standard in Gurkha pick-up truck. We expect Force to price this SUV starting from Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom). When launched, the Gurkha pickup truck will directly compete with the Isuzu V-Cross and Toyota Hilux.
