CSK predicted XI vs DC, IPL 2023: Four-time champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will take on bottom placed Delhi Capitals (DC) in the IPL 2023 encounter at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Wednesday. CSK have won six and lost four in the 11 matches they’ve played in the tournament and sit at the second position on the points table. They will enter the contest on the back of a comprehensive win against Mumbai Indians in their previous encounter.
CSK produced a tremendous show with the ball in the previous encounter against MI, with spinners dominating the show. However, it was the quicks who were among the wickets as Ravindra Jadeja was the lone CSK spinner who managed to make a single inroad in the contest.
Matheesha Pathirana returned with excellent figures, that read 3/15 and he will once again hold the key against Delhi.
If we look at CSK batters Devon Conway and Ruturaj Gaikwad has been in top form. Conway scored 44(42) while Gaikwad provided a brisk start, scoring 30 off 16 balls, to help CSK chase down the paltry 140-run target with 14 balls to spare.
Shivam Dube continued his six-hitting prowess and hammered three in his unbeaten 26 off 18 balls.
While things more or less sorted for CSK the only person who poses a few question is Ambati Rayudu. The middle-order batter, who is mostly used as an Impact Substitute, has been inconsistent and CSK may look for other alternatives in his place.
