Varanasi: Bharatiya Janata Party has started finalising list of its star campaigners, who will be in Varanasi to mobilise voters for the Varanasi Municipal Corporation election.
BJP’s city chief Vidyasagar Rai said Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will address a grand public meeting at Shivpur mini stadium on April 30 and prior to that deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya will camp in the city on April 28 and attend a number of events, he said, adding that events for campaigning by deputy CM Brajesh Pathak is also being finalised.
Rai said former state BJP chief and UP Jal Shakti minister Swatantrata Dev Singh, Bhojpuri film stars and MPs, including Ravi Kishan and Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirahua besides other prominent faces of the party will also be campaigning for the party’s candidates. tnn
