And now the company has launched the updated new C3 hatchback with 13 new features. The top-of-the-line Shine variant now gets electrically adjustable ORVMs, a rear parking camera, day/night IRVM, 15-inch diamond cut alloys, fog lights, rear wiper and washer, rear skid plates, a rear defogger. The infotainment now also gets connected car tech with 35 connectivity features.
The C3 is offered with two engine options – a 1.2-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated unit that produces 82hp and 115Nm and comes paired with a 5-speed manual. The other engine is the 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine which puts out 110 bhp of power and 190 Nm of torque. The engine comes paired with a 6-speed manual. The turbo engine variants now also get ESP, Hill-Hold, TPMS and Engine Auto Start/Stop. The company also said that both engines are now BS6 phase II compliant and Citroen claims a fuel efficiency of identical 19.3 kmpl for NA and turbo variants.

The company recently launched the eC3 electric hatchback at Rs 11.5 lakh (ex-showroom). The Citroen eC3 gets a 29.2kWh battery pack paired with the front axle-mounted electric motor that produces 57hp and 143Nm of peak torque. Citroen claims the C3 can sprint 0-60 kph in 6.8 seconds. The eC3 also gets two driving modes – Eco and Standard – along with regenerative braking.
