Bldg Of Jailed Ex-mla’s Aide Attached In Bhadohi | Varanasi News – Times of India



Varanasi: Initiating action under the Gangsters Act, officials of district administration and police attached a two-storeyed building of Suresh Keshwarni, an active member of jailed mafia don and former MLA Vijay Mishra, in Narepar village of Sitamadhi under Koirauna police station in Bhadohi district on Wednesday.
Providing details of action taken on Wednesday, SP Bhadohi Anil Kumar said under the on-going drive to destroy the economic empire of gangsters, police got inputs about Kesharwani’s property in Narepar village of Sitamadhi area. By utilising the terror of Mishra and his influence, Kesharwani had created wealth illegally, he said, adding, the same illegal wealth was spend on constructing a two-storeyed building with the most luxurious facilities.
After collecting all details, Kesharwani’s property was evaluated, he said, adding, total value of this property was estimated at Rs 2.20 crore. Along with these details, investigation report was submitted to district magistrate Bhadohi Gaurang Rathi confiscation was recommended under Gangster Act recently. After DM’s order, a joint team of officials of district administration and police completed the process of attachment on Wednesday.
Kumar said Kesharwani had been active in the crime world since 2006 and by projecting himself to be a close associate of Mishra, he kept earning money illegally.
Bhadohi administration and police had already attached many other properties worth several crore rupees of Vijay Mishra, his family and gang members . With 83 criminal cases in his history sheet, Vijay Mishra is currently lodged in Agra jail.
