PRAYAGRAJ: In a tragic incident, a 60-year-old woman and her 30-year-old son were run over by a speeding train near Shivkuti area under the limits of Shivkuti police station early on Monday morning.
Police said that the mother and her son came on track while quarreling with each other and were run over by a speeding train.
Police also said that both of them were in an inebriated state when the incident took place. Further investigations are on.
The deceased have been identified as Meena Kumari and her son Rajesh, both residents of Halwai chauraha in Mumfordganj.
Bodies have been sent for postmortem.
