All-new 2023 Porsche Cayenne bookings open in India: Price, tech and design updates inside – Times of India

Porsche India has begun taking bookings for the new generation Cayenne and Cayenne Coupe SUVs. The Cayenne duo now get a reworked exterior design, new chassis technology and a number of high-tech features. The new Cayenne gets a redesigned front end with its new bonnet, Matrix LED headlamps and 3D designed tail lamps. Porsche is also offering three new exterior colours for the 2023 model and a range of 21-inch, 22-inch and 23-inch wheels for buyers to choose from.

Porsche has given a major upgrade to the 2023 Cayenne SUVs with the revised layout for the new 12.6-inch curved digital instrument cluster. It also gets a Head-Up Display (HUD) as an optional extra. Then there is the 12.3-inch infotainment screen. Moreover, Porsche has added a 10.9-inch screen for the front passenger entertainment, a first by the automaker. The passenger entertainment screen is invisible to the driver to ensure that they are not distracted by it.

A new air-quality system ensures that the environment inside is dust and germ-free by using a fine dust particle filter along with an ioniser. The system also uses navigation information to anticipate when the air recirculation needs to be activated.

Additionally, multiple engine options are on offer for the Cayenne SUV duo. The standard Cayenne continues to get the turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 engine, with a higher 348 hp and 499 Nm torque figure than before. The Cayenne S now gets a new and bigger 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 (468 hp – 599 Nm). However, the biggest and baddest engine option is offered in the 2023 Cayenne Coupe Turbo GT. It is a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 that produces 650 hp and gives the SUV a top speed of 304 kmph.

Prices for the 2023 Cayenne and Cayenne Coupe start from Rs 1.35 crore and Rs 1.41 crore respectively.
