Speaking on meeting with Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Ajit Pawar over farmers’ loss due to untimely rain, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on April 12 said that the government will provide all possible assistance to the farmers. “Farmers have faced losses due to untimely rainfall, I have contacted several farmers and have promised to provide assistance. Our government has always supported the farmers and we will keep doing that,” he added.
