Prayagraj: With the aim to improve health infrastructure, a three-day capacity development workshop on data analysis and use began in city on Thursday.
Being organized by health department, the workshop was held under the chairmanship of additional director (health and family welfare) Dr KK Verma.
Verma emphasized on the need to understand the importance of health services and strengthen and increase its capacity from time to time.
“Entry of figures on portals and app plays an important role and after analysing these data, we can focus on services that needs improvement,” he said.
Experts said health officials are being trained to handle the data suitably during the workshop. Officials are also briefed about how to prepare workplan at mandal, district and block level and using right method of data collection and analyses.
