Prayagraj: Minor Girl Among 2 Found Murdered In Separate Incidents | Allahabad News – Times of India



PRAYAGRAJ: Two persons, including a minor girl, were found murdered in two separate incidents in trans-Yamuna and trans-Ganga areas on Tuesday. The body of a 12-year-old girl was recovered from Kaithwal village under the limits of Khiri police station, while body of a 56-year-old lab technician was found outside his home in Phulpur block.
The lab technician, Babuliram alias Babulalli of Jaunpur, was posted at Colvin hospital.
Police said the deceased was staying alone at his quarters and the body was found near the cot in a pool of blood.
Upon being alerted, senior police officials along with forensic experts rushed to the spot and carried out investigations. Inspector (Phulpur police station) Yashpal Singh told TOI: “The motive behind the killing was still unknown. Circumstantial evidences revealed that unidentified killers stabbed Babuliram to death. The body has been sent for postmortem.” Police have spoken to his neighbours and family members to compile more inputs. They said Babuliram was earlier posted at Phulpur community health centre and was transferred to Colvin hospital couple of months back. Two teams have been formed to crack down the case.
In a separate case, body of a 12-year-old girl was found near a pond at Kaithwal village under the limits of Khiri police station in trans Yamuna on Tuesday morning, police said.
Police said the minor girl had returned to house after attending a wedding ceremony on Monday night and again left home. On Tuesday morning, her body was found near the pond. An FIR under section 302 of IPC has been lodged against unidentified person for killing the girl. The body has been sent for postmortem. Police said the girl was staying with her 17-year-old elder sister as their parents had died a couples of years back.
