Hyundai Motor India recently revealed the Exter SUV in the Indian market. The company has also commenced bookings for the Hyundai Exter at a token amount of Rs 11,000 online or at its authorized dealerships across the country. Hyundai has now revealed the colour options that are available on the booking page. Here are the complete details.

Hyundai is offering the new Exter in nine colour options, including six monotone and three dual-tone colour options. Six monotone colour options include Atlas White, Ranger Khakhi, Starry Night, Fiery Red, Cosmic Blue and Titan Grey, while dual-tone colour combinations include Cosmic Blue with Abyss Black, Atlas White with Abyss Black and Ranger Khakhi with Abyss Black.

The Hyundai Exter will be available in five variants – EX, S, SX, SX (O) and SX (O) Connect. The SUV will likely be equipped with features like a touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic headlamps, wireless charging, cruise control, auto climate control, front and rear seat armrests and rear AC vents. The top-end variant might get connected car technology as standard.

Hyundai is offering the Exter SUV with two engine options – a 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine (E20-fuel ready), mated with a five-speed manual transmission and an AMT unit, and a 1.2-litre Kappa petrol with CNG engine that comes paired with a five-speed manual gearbox.
Hyundai Exter: Expected launch and rivals
We expect the Hyundai Exter SUV to launch in August 2023 in the Indian market. Upon launch, the Hyundai Exter will rival the likes of the small SUVs, the Tata Punch, Citroen C3, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite and the Maruti Suzuki Fronx.
