VARANASI: A delegation of SP leaders met the district election officials in Azamgarh on Monday after names of several voters, including veteran MLA from Nizamabad Alam Badi, was found missing from the electoral rolls of ULB election for Azamgarh Nagar Palika.
SP Azamgarh district unit president Hawaldar Yadav told TOI: “After getting electoral rolls, the candidates found names of a large number of genuine voters were missing. Former UP minister Durga Prasad Yadav, MLA Nafis Ahmed and other leaders met the district election officers.”
