Maruti Suzuki Jimny
The Jimny is one of the most highly-anticipated upcoming Maruti Suzuki cars in the Indian market. First showcased at the 2023 Auto Expo in January, a launch is set to take place this month. The Mahindra Thar-rivaling lifestyle SUV is expected to be priced from around the Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom) mark, and will be offered with a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine making 103 PS power. A 4×4 configuration will be standard on all variants of the Jimny, and the SUV will be retailed through the company’s premium Nexa dealerships.

While the MG Comet EV has already been launched in India at a base price of Rs 7.98 lakh (ex-showroom), the pricing for the higher variants will be announced this month. Currently the most affordable EV in India, the Comet EV offers a range of up to 230 km, and gets a two-door, four-seat layout. Higher variants will offer features like a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, a similarly sized digital instrument cluster, connected-tech and so on.
Tata Altroz CNG
First displayed at the 2023 Auto Expo in January this year, the bookings for the Tata Altroz CNG opened recently. The upcoming Altroz CNG’s equipment list will include an electric sunroof, direct start in CNG mode, cruise control, as well as a new twin-cylinder technology instead of a single larger cylinder, which will open up more space inside the boot. The Altroz CNG variants will likely be available at a premium of about Rs 1 lakh over the corresponding petrol variants.

BMW is all set to launch the X3 M40i in India soon, with bookings already open for the performance SUV. The X3 M40i will share its powertrain with the BMW M340i, which is a 3.0-litre six-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, however, it will put out 360 PS power and 500 Nm torque on the SUV. Other highlights could include M bits both on the inside as well as outside, 19-inch M Sport alloy wheels, blacked out elements and so on.
Kia Seltos facelift

Launched back in 2019, the Kia Seltos is due for a facelift, and we believe that it could arrive this month. The Seltos facelift made its debut last year at the 2022 Los Angeles Auto Show with a range of external and internal changes. Apart from the visual enhancements as well as some additional features, we expect the SUV to get a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that puts out 160 PS power, with a DCT gearbox.
