Cm To Lead Bjp’s Poll Campaign In Kashi | Varanasi News – Times of India



Varanasi: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself has taken the lead to ensure BJP’s victory in the urban local body elections in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s parliamentary constituency Varanasi.
Two public meetings of CM Yogi are going to be held in Varanasi. Besides, various programmes of the deputy chief ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak are also proposed. Varanasi is going to poll in the first phase on April 4.
BJP regional president, Dilip Singh Patel said that the CM’s first public meeting will be held at Shivpur’s mini stadium in the evening of April 29 and another public meeting is also proposed on May 01. Maurya will take part in various programmes in Varanasi on Friday. He will address the youth conference at 1 pm at BJP’s regional office in Rohania. Later, he will take part in ‘Chai pe charcha’ in Suswahi at 3pm.
On the same day at 4pm, Maurya will attend Raja, a play based on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, organised by Seva Bharti, Kashi Prant, at Swatantra Bhawan, Banaras Hindu University. After that he will move to Gangapur market, where he will address a public meeting at 6.30pm. Later, he will also address public meetings in Mawaiyaand Konia at 9pm
Patel said that the deputy CM Brajesh Pathak will also attend various programmes on Friday. He will address a conference of Mahila Morcha organised at Vishwanath Garden, Manduadih in the evening. After that, he will meet the doctors at Dr Ashok Rai’s hospital located near Roadways Bus Stand to discuss the development work and appeal to vote in the interest of the nation.
