“Ours is a progressive growth and you must remember we have 30 dealers, but very soon, we will double that with the (C3) Aircross launch, and by the end of the year, we will have 30 (dealers),” said Thierry Koskas, CEO, Citroen, according to Autocar.

Citroen C3: Features

(1.) The SUV, says Citroen, has been developed and engineered in India, which means the car has localisation level of more than 90%. It is essentially a ‘mid-size SUV version’ of the C3 hatchback currently on sale in the country.

(2.) It comes in a 5+2 seating arrangement and is built on the in-house common modular platform (CMP).

(3.) For powertrain, C3 Aircross gets a sole 1.2-litre petrol engine that churns out a maximum power output and peak torque of 110 hp and 190 Nm respectively.

(4.) Not much is known on the features front. As per Autocar, however, the vehicle continues to have the 10-inch infotainment screen, and has also finally been given an electric adjustment for the wing mirrors.

(5.) When launched, it will go up against well-established rivals such as Creta (Hyundai), Grand Vitara (Maruti Suzuki), Hyryder (Toyota), Taigun (Volkswagen) and Kushaq (Skoda).
