KANPUR: Three UP women cricketers, including Archana Devi of Kanpur, have been selected for National Cricket Academy coaching camp to be held in Bangaluru from May 15.
Archana Devi, who was a member of the Indian World Cup under-19 squad, had earned name and fame for her fine performance in the World Cup. She had grabbed 8 wickets conceding 105 runs in 7 matches in the World Cup. The other two women cricketers are Parshvi Chopra (Ghaziabad) and Muskan Malik (Aligarh). The duration of the camp is 25 days.
