Prayagraj: Three persons, including two minors, were killed and three others sustained injuries in a road accident in Kaushambi district on Monday, police said.
The incident took place when a youth along with his wife and four other kids was returning home after offering prayers at Kada Dham.
Police said the bike in which they were tarvelling was hit by a speeding truck near Kasiya petrol pump road under the limits of Kokhraj police station on Monday afternoon.
The deceased have been identified as Shivkumar (40), his daughter Suhani (5) and Anjali (14 years and daughter of one HP Patel), all residents of Tikra village.
Police said three more injured persons were sent to Manjahnpur district hospital for treatment.
On Sunday evening, two youths had died and two others sustained injuries when two speeding bikes collided head-on near Sayara over-bridge road under the limits of Saini police station of Kaushambi district. The injured were admitted at a hospital for treatment.
