LUCKNOW: The city reported a slight drop in the number of Covid-19 cases on Sunday. As many as 156 people were diagnosed with the novel coronavirus infection, taking the number of active cases to 156.
Among the fresh cases, only one patient was hospitalized at KGMU. While 75 people recovered from infection in the last 24 hours.
On Saturday, the city had recorded 191 cases. According to health department, highest 26 Covid cases were reported at Aliganj Community Health Centre (CHC) followed by 20 each at Alambagh and Chinhat CHCs, 18 at NK Road CHC, 17 at Sarojininagar CHC, 11 Turiyaganj CHC, 9 at Indiranagar CHC and 7 at Silver Jubilee and 6 Red Cross CHCs.
District surveillance officer Dr Nishant Nirvan said, “Most of those tested positive for Covid-19 are recovering in home isolation and we are monitoring their condition closely.”
