150 MNS workers from Kalyan join Uddhav Thackeray led Shiv Sena | Thane News – Times of India



KALYAN: As many as 150 prominent Maharashtra Navnirman Sena workers led by party’s Kalyan Shahar Sanghatak Rupesh Bhoir joined the Shiv Sena faction led by Uddhav Thackeray in Mumbai on Tuesday.
Workers, under leadership of Bhoir alongwith Kalyan’s senior Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Vijay Salvi and Kalyan’s city president Sachin Basare reached Matoshree in two buses where they joined the party in presence of Uddhav Thackeray.
Rupesh Bhoir, is known for raising various social issues in the city. Rupesh’s late father Chandrakant Bhoir was staunch Shiv Sainik and he was the first standing chairman of Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation.
However, after Chandrakant Bhoir’s death, the party did not give any post to Rupesh. He left Shiv Sena and joined MNS.
