13 May, SP, BSP, Cong ‘gayi’, says Dy CM in Jhansi rally | Kanpur News – Times of India



JHANSI: Addressing an election rally here to promote BJP candidate Bihari Lal Arya at Khati Baba on Monday, deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said, “BJP will win all 17 mayor seats in the state and most of the corportator seats during the civic body elections. Vote for the BJP to ensure a triple-engine government that works for all-round development.”
He added, “Mark my words:13 May, SP, BSP, Congress gayi’ (On the election result day, May 13, all three opposition parties will be wiped out).
Maurya said votes cast by public are a loan to the party and is to be repaid duly in the form of development.
“Before 2017, the state but we have given a corruption-free government that focuses on development,” he added.
Hitting hard against Samajwadi Party, Maurya said the party patronised criminals, bringing them into politics.
He also accused BSP for promoting corruption and said it is only the BJP that has taken decisive action against mafia to bring peace to the state.
Maurya said after sweeping the civic bodies election in the state, BJP will come back with a thumping majority in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, while winning all 80 seats in UP and 40 in Bihar. He also claimed that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, there will be complete ‘Ram Rajya‘ in the country by 2047.
“The borders of the country are safe and secure. Today, no country can dare to attack us and if any other country is under attack, they call our Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the most popular leader of the world,” Maurya added.
