1.7l Cases Disposed Of At Lok Adalat | Kanpur News – Times of India



Kanpur: As many as 1,71,236 cases were disposed of and a sum of Rs 17,97,54,253 was provided/realised in the National lok Adalat held here on Kanpur district court premises on Sunday.
The judicial officials of Kanpur judiciary disposed of around 37,219 cases and a sum of Rs 12,70,40,499 was provided/realised.
The administrative officers settled around 1,32,848 cases, according to Shubhi Gupta additional district and session judge and secretary District Legal Services Authority.
Chief guest Justice Siddharth Verma Allahabad high court and administrative judge Kanpur inaugurated the National Lok Adalat. District judge Pradeep Kumar Singh said, “It should be our endeavor to make the Lok Adalat successful by settling maximum number of cases.”
Prathamkant nodal officer National lok Adalat and other judicial officials were present on this occasion. Compoundable criminal cases, matrimonial cases, civil cases, Motor Accident claim, revenue cases, arbitration cases were settled in the National Lok Adalat.
